  LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

Welcome To The Utah Chapter of the Appraisal Institute

Dan BrammerThe Appraisal Institute is a global membership association of professional real estate appraisers with a membership of over 26,000 members and 91 chapters of which the Utah Chapter is one. Members of the Appraisal Institute benefit from an array of professional education and advocacy programs, and may hold the prestigious MAI, SRPA and SRA designations.
The Utah chapter is committed to helping members advance in professionalism and ethics, standards and practices through the professional development of property economics throughout the state. The chapter offers educational opportunities with courses for the starting appraiser to advanced appraisal courses. Appraisal Institute instructors for the courses and seminars are experienced instructors and in most cases, practicing appraisers that understand the appraisal profession and real estate market.
The majority of Appraisal Institute members are practicing real estate appraisers and property analysts who provide valuation related services to such clients as mortgage lenders, financial institutions, government agencies, attorneys and financial planners as well as home owners. All Appraisal Institute members adhere to a strictly enforced Code of Professional Ethics and Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice.
On behalf of the Utah Chapter, I want to welcome you to our web site and hope it will be beneficial to you.
